At the Center for Digital Green-innovation(CDG), in line with the Declaration of Co-creative Community we are organizing seminars to help create an environment where students, faculty, and staff with diverse identities and backgrounds can feel safe to learn, work, and fully demonstrate their abilities.
This series is open to all students, staff, and faculty, and President Kazuhiro Shiozaki and Trustee/Executive Director Naokazu Odani are scheduled to participate. You are welcome to eat lunch during the sessions. We would be grateful for your participation in making NAIST a place where all members can learn and work with ease.
This year, we are designating the first week of December as “Diversity Week”. On Monday the 1st and Tuesday the 2nd, we will hold seminars covering foundational knowledge (the content is the same on both days; please attend either one). On Thursday the 4th, we will host an in‑person event titled “A Closed Meeting about the Things That Feel Unclear around Diversity.” On Friday the 5th, we will invite the certified nonprofit Nijiiro Diversity to deliver a seminar focusing on LGBTQ+ topics.
