NAIST SDGs Action 2025 Vol.2 -“Akitsuho no Sato” Satoyama Conservation 2025 part.1: Rice Planting (June 8, 2025)

Akitsuho no Sato” Satoyama Conservation 2025

“Sugiura Farm Gamba Farm” cultivates rice and vegetables without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers in terraced fields and fields at the foot of Mt. Kongo and Mt. Katsuragi, and is working to revitalize the region and conserve Satoyama. This year, we will be participating in the “Akitsuho Rice Cultivation for Satoyama Conservation” event hosted by the NPO “Satoyama Kara” and Sugiura Farm Gamba Farm. The event provides an opportunity for participants to come into contact with Satoyama together with many other participants through rice planting, weeding, and rice harvesting. If you are interested, please come and join us.
