Toward International Center of Excellence for World-Leading VR and AR Research
Professor Hirokazu Kato and Professor Kiyoshi Kiyokawa (NAIST) have been selected by the Visualization and Graphics Technology Community (VGTC) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s largest professional society in the field of electrical and information engineering, as members of the VR Academy, which was established by the VGTC. The research of VR and AR is rapidly advancing as a technology that will revolutionize our daily lives and workplaces, and NAIST is expected to lead the research and development as one of the international center of excellence.
