The 9th NAIST Green Economy Session 2025-The Potential of IT Solutions for Medical, Disaster, and Business Transformation-(September 2, 2025) (On-campus only)

The sessions are planned as an opportunity for NAIST students to discuss with invited speakers from the members of NAIST Green Economy Consortium, as they introduce the latest information from industry. It will be held in the form of a luncheon seminar (with snack and beverages), and we look forward to seeing you there.

Venue: hybrid (onsite: CDG Commons, 2nd floor, Interdisciplinary Research Complex No.1 , online: Zoom)
Participation fee:  Free (Registration is required with your NAIST google account.)
Capacity: 25 people (First-registration, first-served basis. We will close it when capacity is reached.) Online: 25 people

Title: The Potential of IT Solutions for Medical, Disaster, and Business Transformation
Abstract: In this session, we will give a talk about trends in the IT industry, which is undergoing a period of transformation, and the skills necessary for the social utilization of IT. As part of our efforts in the medical field, we will also introduce examples of IT solutions and joint research for solving medical issues. Furthermore, we will explain our social contributions through examples of solving corporate issues, such as disaster response and ERP implementation. We will also provide information on the job assignments of NAIST students, our educational support system, our business overview, workplace environment, and internship opportunities.

Note: Onsite sessions are open to all NAIST students, faculty, and staff, but light meals are provided for students only. Please note that we are unable to accommodate allergies, etc. with regard to the lunch and beverages provided. You will be notified by Thursday, August 28 about either on-site or online participation.
