This year, NAIST will again participate in the event of \u201cKaze no Mori\u201d Akitsuho Rice Cultivation, which produces rice used to make sake, a local Japanese alcoholic beverage. On the day of the event, participants will have the opportunity to get in touch with the satoyama by planting, weeding, and harvesting rice along with many other participants. We look forward to your participation if you are interested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Akitsuho-no-Sato\u201d Satoyama Conservation 2024 Part.3 Rice Harvesting in Terraced Rice Paddies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> October 20, 2024 (Sun) 10:00 ~ 14:00 (Light rain will be held. Rice harvesting will last about 2 hours.)<br><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Terraced rice fields near Fushimi, Gose City, Nara Prefecture<br>(Meet there by car or public transportation. \uff08Detailed information will be sent to participants by e-mail later.)<br><strong>Capacity: <\/strong>15 people (in order of application. Will close when capacity is reached)<br>Participation fee: Free (Participants are responsible for their own transportation costs. Lunch is free. Sake (Kaze no Mori) tasting will be available for a fee.
